Complement of the new season to everyone ❤️

One of the key important things in marriage is Communication.Things that you avoid to talk about in your marriage, are the very same things that will kill the intimacy and the love in your relationship. No matter how sensitive the matter is ,but you need to talk about it as a couple and find a solution before that thing becomes a ticking boom that will soon explode and destroy the love and intimacy in your marriage.

I personally I’m a very quiet person and an introvert, where else my hubby is a very out spoken person. But the understanding that we both have about each other’s personalities has made it easy for us to not only communicate but, to know how to communicate with each other because manner of approach is also important.

My husband once said these words to me , and I quote “Me being happy as your husband does not have to come at the cost of you not being happy and doing things to please me, he continues to say my duty as your husband is to ensure that you as my wife you are happy and at peace and not feeling like you are a slave as you continue with your duties”

My husband saying these words , it was like he was opening a new door for me to walk in and just live and be free around him and with him. We talk about everything and if I say everything I mean everything, my husband is my best friend and my husband’s bestie is me. Of cos it’s not something that happens over night but it’s work that we are daily putting in ,into building a healthy , happy and successful marriage and maintaining a peaceful home where we both feel safe to always run to because we know we’ve got each other’s backs.

When you communicate about everything in your marriage, it doesn’t give an enemy an upper hand to come in because nothing is hidden and I believe that is how marriages should be, that is how any relationship should be. Transparency and openness is key especially if you both have the same intentions of building together and not destroying each other and making each other feel miserable.

2023 let’s continue to build healthy, happy and successful marriages. With God on our side, nothing shall be impossible.
